About Us
The Peninsula Chapter of SHRM, #0726, was established in July 2008 and serves the Peninsula and Hampton Roads areas in Virginia. As an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and an approved provider of recertification credits for SHRM and HRCI, we are excited to be a chapter of choice for tenured professionals and those pursuing or interested in pursuing a career in HR and business management/operations.
Review our Bylaws here. Peninsula SHRM is a 501(c)(6), professional organization. Our board of directors is 100% volunteers and our goal is to provide networking and career enhancement opportunities for human resource and business professionals to elevate themselves as leaders within their industry and organization. We also provide these opportunities for human resource and business majors in their effort to learn more about their chosen careers and form valuable relationships following graduation.
We encourage and invite anyone to attend a monthly program, networking social or other event to learn more about our chapter offerings.
